Toronto Airport Information

Officially known as Lester B. Pearson International Airport, Toronto International airport is the busiest and the largest airport in Canada, serving the Toronto metropolitan area and the Golden Horseshoe. Next to Mississauga municipality, the airport is just a little more than 22 kms from Downtown Toronto.

A namesake of the 14th Prime Minister of Canada, it currently serves more than 35 million passengers making it the world’s 35th busiest airport. Originally a farming land in Malton Ontario, Toronto Pearson has, over the years, emerged as the one of the best global airports in the world. It is managed and administered by Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) in alignment with Canada’s National Airports System. It is one of the few airports in the country that offer pre-clearance for travel to the USA.

Toronto Pearson is superbly planned. It has two Terminals, 1 and 3 and houses five of the most luxurious lounges. Free Wi-Fi connection and numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and shops make the stay at the airport a comfortable one.
